oh wah! so much so for GEMS! woke up early in the morning to catch the 1000 The Girl Who Leapt Through Time at CathayCine with weeteng, we bought the other 3 tickets (alicia joining us for afternoon show) for the 1615 Transformers movie too. naturally you'll check the name of the movie and try to remember which cineplex it will be, then chuck it inside the wallet? after finishing The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, we met up with alicia and had lunch. at 1600, we excitedly entered into Level5 theatre9. we got all excited watching the trailers before the start of the movie, took off sandals, put on some moisturiser and took out the jacket. within 2 minutes after the start of the show, a couple approached us to check if we were sitting at the wrong seats because we were sitting at theirs. we took out our tickets, checked the seat numbers, correct eh? we started stratching our heads already, then the usher came in and took my ticket away, returning shortly after to tell us to get out of the theatre because our tickets are for 18 July, which is tomorrow! "why didn't you all check the tickets?" she said, unpolitely. ohhhhh! we, customers, were supposed to check the tickets when neither the cashier nor you, the usher, checked before letting us in?! ohh whoa! we learnt that. so she led us to level9 and got another trainee to attend to our problem. by now, we were boiling and were in no mood for any movie. the trainee had the cheek to say there is a plate asking all customers to check the tickets after buying. i shall do a plate and ask your colleagues to check it for me before handing me the tickets, is it?! "the most i can do is issue you another ticket worth the same price ($7) and to be used within 7 days" he said. it is not easy for us to meet and i don't have all the time in the world to travel to cineleisure just for $7 worth of movie, alright?! the heated argument went on. "i hope you see that i'm trying my best to compensate" he continued, irritatedly. perhaps we would have tried to believe if his attitude was alittle more sincere, and if his voice wasn't getting louder and louder. but no! i really can swear his attitude sucked to the core, even stopping alicia from explaining why we do not want the 7-day ticket. at this time, his senior walked in and gave him suggestions. 7-day $7 ticket changed to 7-day any-movie-at-any-time-any-day ticket. "can we meet your manager?" we asked firmly. "they're in meeting and we can't gurantee what time they come in to the office" he explained sulkingly. the senior offered 7-day any-movie-at-any-time-any-day ticket to 14-day any-movie-at-any-time-any-day ticket. we took the tickets, but we didn't care about it now. we want the respect we should have gotten. "give me the cashier's name, usher's name and your manager's number" i said. we got the cashier's name and the office's number, but he did not know the usher's name and did not bother to find out. we turned and stomped to level5, walked up to the usher and she was smiling. "can i have your name please?" i said. her face changed. boiling, we sat in front of the usher's area for pretty long before deciding to go to a quieter place to make the call. dial, dial and dial. engaged, engaged and engaged. going back to level9, we tried to tell them nicely that the number is always engaged and asked for another number. "this is the only number. what is it that you are unhappy about?" the senior said, starting to sound irritated. "are the managers at level5?" we asked. "even if you go to level5, they'll tell you the same thing." oh is it? we asked for the manager at level5 box office and the assistant theatre manager came out. "are we suppose to talk to you? have you heard about the incident?" i asked. he shaked his head and alicia explained the attitude that was given to us. he offered 2 no-limit ticket, one to be used within a week, another within a month. we kept quiet. it isn't the problem of tickets anymore, duh! he offered 2 no-limit tickets, both to be used within a month. obviously this is what he thinks can colve the problem. alright, we took it. "i'm sure you're going to talk to your staff about the kind of attitude they are giving to the customers right?" i asked. smilingly, he nodded. then 3 fuming girls continue sitting at the coca-cola lounge, for so long that we saw him entertaining another complaint. -_______-'' and the fucking taxi company, reply feedback also state the wrong incident date! copy and paste also lazy to edit the date! too bad, if she, the customer service coordinator gave me more respect i would have resisted the temptation to make matters worse for her. but no. and the uncle should have know better than to answer us "want to alight then alight looooorrrrr", (i am not exagerrating, he dragged his LOR) and made me beg him to take our fare. i'm usually a good customer, i smile and thank for all the service and attention, but give me that respect dude.
